For some reason this shot didn't come out as well as it looked before I pciked up the camera. I have captured the light and shade which was what caught my eye, but it doesn't inspire me as a finished picture...
Wider angle next time perhaps.

I'd say it was a bit over-exposed. Looks like evaluative metering has produced a worst-of-both-worlds result.
Choosing metering methods makes my head spin. For subjects like this I either use exposure bracketing, or shoot RAW so I can cheat. :-)
